![]() Wacom made a recent announcement that a new pen will form part of their series that provides users with a more convenient experience when it comes to digital illustrations, graphic design, and similar subjects. The new Wacom Pro Pen Slim offers a more convenient usage for users who find that the traditional options, such as the Wacom Pro Pen 2, causes them to experience fatigue in their hands with prolonged use. The pen does have similar features to the Wacom Pro Pen 2, except for a slimmer design that makes it easier to hold the pen for prolonged periods of time, as well as for specific types of drawings and illustrations. In the past, Wacom had two pens that formed part of their range. This included the Wacom Pro Pen 2, along with the Wacom Pro Pen 3D. After numerous complaints from users that the Wacom Pro Pen 2 caused them to experience fatigue in their hands after using the pen for some time, the company decided to revise the design and launch a new product, becoming part of their pen range. The pen features mostly similar features as users have come to expect from the Wacom Pro Pen 2, but there are some distinct differences in the actual design of the pen. This primarily includes the slimmer design, as noted in the name of the new pen released by the brand. ![]() The Wacom Pro Pen Slim offers a slim design that is about four millimeters slimmer than the original Wacom Pro Pen 2 at some points. For many users, the slim design will fit more comfortably in their hands and allow them to continue using the pen on a supported tablet without having to worry about fatigue. ![]() DxO ViewPoint 4: Complete geometric control of photography. Those who want to upgrade also have a special price for the same period: 59.99 instead of 79. Internally, the Wacom Pro Pen Slim features a +/- 60-degree tilt recognition system, along with an 8,192-pressure sensitivity level. Which camera/lens combinations are supported by DxO PhotoLab for use with RAW. It’s a wise marketing decision by DxO, I believe, as the price for the Nik Collection 2 with the DxO PhotoLab 2.3 ESSENTIAL Edition is 99.99 instead of 149, if acquired until June 30, 2019. This offers superior performance when compared to some of the other pens on the market – these are similar features as that offered by the other pens that form part of the Wacom Pro Pen product range. Also shoot with the reef as BackGround (BG) not open water - I know you won't get that nice black BG, but on some occasions you need to choose between a black BG and your sanity. The Wacom Pro Pen Slim is currently compatible with four different tables, including the Wacom MobileStudio Pro, the Wacom Cintiq Pro, the Wacom Intuos Pro, and the Wacom Cintiq 16. There are various other schemes for blurring the backscatter with the dust and scratches filter but involve selecting and dealing with aliasing, which can be even more tiresome.īut in reality getting in super close is the answer to minimise it. This way it samples from the same area until you select a new source - the colours don't need to match only the textures When the driver recognizes the tablet and show the device is connected then you can use the pen to draw and the lines will show on your opened drawing software. Review: Great Joys new 60mm T2.9 1.33x anamorphic lens, 1.35x adapter. The more affordable rival to Wacoms Intuos Pro. Dear all, I have bought a cheap graphic tablet (Huion H950P) which works just fine with DxO Photo Lab (iMac). For a few years I used in parallel the then-current DxO and Adobe products, starting with DxO Optics Pro 9 and Adobe Lightroom 5. To do this make sure the box in the toolbar for the healing brush that the box "aligned" is not checked. Today I use both DxO PhotoLab 4 Elite and Adobe Lightroom 6. The other thing that really helps is a wacom tablet, using the pen to touch each spot is a lot less tiring than using a mouse and clicking, I find I can set it up to sample from the same spot repeatedly so only a single touch is required. Go over and do all the easy stuff first then go in and do any spots over your main subject individually selecting where to clone from. Using the healing brush rather than the spot removal tool seems to work better, you soon get a feel for where you need to sample from - clear water for spots over clear water, similar texture over background features etc. I find the healing brush in photoshop the best tool for the job, often the worst of the backscatter is in the corners so creative cropping will lower your workload a lot. ![]()
